Something I love to do in my spare time is look though pages and pages of street style images online. I find it really inspiring to see how others wear their clothes and often finds it can revitalise my own wardrobe, without me having to buy anything new! Below is a collection of my favourite street style images at the moment, from my favourite street style website, Street Style Aesthetic, by photographer Wayne Tippetts.

I think my favourite full outfit from this bunch is either the third, or the seventh. Also I also love the last one! Which is your favourite?

In my opinion, your Christmas day outfit can go one of two ways. You will either opt for glitz and glam, or total comfort. It's a decision that most people will have a consistent choice on every year. I am always a glam Christmas-er. We always have a huge family get-together and everyone dresses up. I think its the best excuse! I pretty much will always go for something glittery if I can.. even if its just on my nails!

So I've put together two outfit choices for Christmas, that cover the two options for me... Comfort vs Glam!

Dress - Topshop
Bag - Next
Nail Paint - Barry M

Slippers - Next
Blanket - Urbanara
Jumper - Topshop
Pyjamas - Topshop

Even though I am still firmly on the side of a glam Christmas, that cosy collage could always sway me! Those pyjamas look so comfy! However, I don't think much can beat the gorgeously sparkly Topshop dress. Fingers crossed I find it under my tree on Christmas morning!

I don't know if you knew, but it's nearly Christmas. In fact, its 5 days until Christmas. So if you follow the yuletide calendar of organisation, now should be about the time where you wrap all the presents you've been buying for your loved ones and put them under the tree for the big day. You've put a lot of thought into buying these presents and seeing as they'll be sat under your tree until they're ripped open, it makes sense that you put as much love and attention into some original wrapping, as you did choosing the present. In this post I've included seven of my favourite gift wrapping ideas, straight from the boards of wonderful, wonderful Pinterest.
I'll be wrapping my presents tonight, so once they're all done I'll hopefully post a picture on my Instagram, if I can get them to live up to the very high standards in this post! I'd love to see some of your wrapping, tweet it to me!

In early December I visited London for the weekend for one of my best friend's birthday. When I arrived, we took a little stroll to the Southbank to look at the Christmas market. It was very cute, but I'm starting to feel like German Christmas Markets aren't that special anymore. A case of once you've seen one, you've seen them all? Maybe that's just my inner Scrooge talking though. There's no doubt they're very festive.

I'm not sure what this building is, but I absolutely love the colour! It's so festive!

This Wahaca restaurant is so innovative, made from old shipping containers. It really matches the rugged, ugly (in the nicest possible way!) buildings that line that area of Southbank, especially against the backdrop of the urban skatepark.

If you're in London over the holidays I'd recommend taking a peek at what's going on down on the Southbank. Even if you're not that into Christmas markets, there are always so many street performers down there to keep the public entertained, which is always worth a watch!

If I haven't gone on about it enough, there's one big thing you should know about me: I'm a beach girl. I was born and bred on the beach and when I think of 'home' all that comes to mind is blue sea and golden sands. Wherever I am, my heart will always be with the sea. I'm also 99% sure that people are bored of me mentioning this fact.

For this reason, I love surf brands. Not only do I love to check their websites for some great snaps of blonde haired, golden skinned gods and goddesses, but for the laid back and cool attitude of their clothing too.

I was having a nosy at the Billabong website (trying to find some information about where their head office is... California btw, score! #dreamingofbeingacaligirl) and came across their winter 13/14 lookbook. I loved the imagery so much and the way they'd put the book together, I thought I'd show you some of my favourites. All picture credits to the lovely ladies and lads at Billabong.

Keep it up Billabong.

Yours sincerely, missing the beach xxx

In July, my boyfriend and I went to Ibiza. I love everything about the White Isle. I love the weather, the music, but most of all the relaxed carefree attitude of everyone you meet there.

Last time we went to Ibiza, we didn't get a chance to visit the Old Town so we made sure we did this time.

Placed on top of a steep hill on the edge of Ibiza Town, the Dalt Vila is a small town of windy lanes, battlements and it also holds a cathedral. It is steeped in history, with almost every settlement of people that have lived in Ibiza using the town for their own purposes since 654 BC.

The walls around the town that we see today were built by an Italian architect in the 16th century and there is a feeling that it has been untouched since then, all around the narrow streets.

We climbed around the outside of the town in the 35+ degree heat and to say we were hot at the top is a HUGE understatement. I think by climbing around the outside of the town we unfortunately managed to miss out the main entrance which apparently includes a drawbridge and statues. We got some nice sea views from our route, but it would have been nice to see at least some of what the guide books talk about!

When we got to the top we sat for a while, cried a little about the heat, took in the fantastic views, then made our way slowly back down. This time we decided on going through the windy streets. Just be careful to avoid the locals as they try driving their old cars up the steep hills that are no wider than the car itself... its a great game.

This area of the island is so traditionally Spanish, I absolutely love it. When I was 17, I did an exchange with a Spanish family who lived in a tiny village in the middle of the mountains of Andalucia. The town looked exactly like this, a tiny but bustling collection of houses strategically placed on a hill, each looking like they're clambering to get out of the way of the lake below. Being in the Dalt Vila just for the morning bought back all those memories and reminded me why I fell in love with Spain to begin with.

If you're in Ibiza and fancy something other than partying for just one day then I thoroughly recommend coming here. Its a look into the history of this beautiful island, before the neon lights and cocktails came and claimed their stake. Not that I don't enjoy a good neon light and a cocktail.. this is Ibiza after all.

My name is Betty, I'm a fashion business graduate and I get very excited about all things marketing. I'm currently working in PR for a big British High Street brand and I love to take inspiration from all sources to quench my creative thirst. Here's a little snapshot of the professional me:

- As well as PR, I have experience in Buying & Visual Merchandising
- I was a restaurant manager in a busy holiday resort town for three years (which gives me a unique professionalism that incorporates customer service skills and knowledge of fashion and business)
- I am competent on both Photoshop and InDesign, as well as most Microsoft Office programmes
- I can speak French to an a-level standard

Today's post comes laden with good news... I am officially on my summer holidays! Yayyyyy! Although I haven't been at uni since March, I have been interning until last Friday when my time was up. I loved every second of it and I'm definitely planning on going back, but for now I am super happy to be back in the cocoon of my tiny seaside town with all my pals for a good few months.

With this in mind, it now means I can cook meals again, which means more food blog posts! Yay! I haven't done any in such a long time and seeing as that's what my blog was originally started for, I do apologise for that!

Today's recipe comes in the form of Ginger Chicken Cakes with Spicy Lime Noodles. I'm going on holiday next week so at the moment I am trying really hard to keep a controlled diet (for the obvious reason that I can then go totally off the rails on holiday!). This recipe was adapted from a canapé book that belongs to my Mum. I also used a Jamie Oliver dressing recipe from his 15 Minute Meals book, as a sauce for the noodles. So it's a bit of a mish mash of ideas, but isn't that what cooking is all about?!

To make this gorgeous, fresh dish for two people, you'll need:

For the chicken cakes:
2 chicken breasts - diced into small chunks
1 inch piece of ginger - chopped
2 tbsp fish sauce
3 spring onions - chopped
2 cloves garlic - crushed
Juice of 1 lime
Few twists of ground black pepper

For the noodle dressing:
2 tbsp soy
1 tbsp fish sauce
Half a red chilli - chopped
Half inch ginger - chopped
2 spring onions - chopped
Juice of 1 lime
1 clove garlic - crushed

2 nests of egg noodles (or any kind you like - I love rice noodles but didn't have any in stock)
Salad - if you fancy it

Start by pre-heating the oven to 200°C. Prepare all the ingredients for the chicken as listed above (chop things), and chuck them in a blender. Then you should press the button and blend it baby. You don't want it looking like a minging chicken smoothie - it should still have a bit of substance. I'd recommend just pulsing it a few times.

Tip it out onto your chopping board again and form it into the cakes. I managed to make 4 big cakes and a few baby ones out of my mix. You need to form them in balls, then slap them down onto the oiled baking tray. Try and make them thin, because you want them to cook nice and quickly but obviously you need them to be fully cooked! It goes without saying you should definitely have clean hands for this task. When the oven is hot enough pop them in for about 15 minutes.

Next, put a pan of water on to boil for your noodles. While this is getting up to temperature, add your dressing ingredients into a blender. (Use a different one from your first one if you can, if not make sure you wash the first blender properly before making the dressing. No one wants raw chicken dressing.) You can blend this up as much as you like because you're making a sauce. If you want, you could add a few tbsp of water in, just to make the dressing stretch a bit further, as I have to admit, there wasn't loads to go round. I'm going to do that next time I make this.

When your chicken has got about 3 minutes left and your water is boiling, chuck the noodles in. (You may need to cook your noodles for longer than 3 minutes- so check the packet). While they're cooking, I prepared a little salad on the plate - nothing fancy!

When the noodles are done, drain them, pop them back in the pan and pour the dressing in. Mix it all together so the dressing has got over all of it. Take your chicken out - make sure it looks done. Pop it all on the plate and enjoy!
